JUST CANT WAIT TO GET OUT OF ARMY LIFE! Although army life is really interesting. Since the start of BMT, I have a mindset of just follow through and fk off from army. Seriously during my BMT i kinda just follow through and did not know what is going on. But ever since i entered command school, i found out that army actually trains me up to be independent, responsible, survival techniques (ie. Navigation trains me to find my way around) that i think is super duper useful for the rest of my life. Dont know whether i will miss ulysses but in my mind now is just to ORD FAST!!! No matter what, i will not stay and work for mindef cause rank system and regimentation really is crap sometimes, unfairness and injustice have somehow taken over and anytime you may get into a super deep trouble that will affect your entire life. So why risk myself? =)

Btw! I have yet to update this blog since a long time. Currently taking a batch of leadership enhance recruits in Ulysses Company as an instructor. Not bad, at least this batch is willing to listen and correct their mistakes. I will try to make all learning a fruitful one and less regimental so that my trainees will do better, know more, advance further and at a faster rate than anyone else.

I do not believe in punishments and do not blame trainees who cannot follow instructions or carrying out a proper job wanted. Instead, instructors should blame themselves for not giving a clear instruction. Afterall, a good instructor will always get his trainees to follow him wholeheartedly and not by forcing them to do it unwillingly.

02/11 Ulysses Leadership Enhance:

Pros: Good listeners, Good peformers, Good followers
Cons: Lacks Teamwork, Lacks Motivators, Lacks Initiative (Improvements seen but still lacks these 3)

Improvements:

Teamwork: Some still selfish, unwillingness to sacrifice
Motivators: As long as there is still people not singing, motivators failed their job.
Initiative: Ask what stuffs is needed to be accomplished, take initiative to prioritize stuffs. (Still not as initiative yet although little has been seen)

Was glad that my OC was happy with the chalet i've organised. It was stressful, busy, yet fun. It was my 1st time organising an event or book a chalet and it went so well. Special thanks to Ross who helped me in some areas of organising and also followed me throughout the day when i need to get things done.

Anyway think he enjoyed following me cause the things we do and time was like so tight yet we are able to manage it somehow and get all things done. It was a great accomplishment and we are both damn proud of ourself! ROAR!!

O.R.D celebration and BBQ all went damn smoothly! Lucky we went to change the format of video if not it would not have been so great. Thanks to Desmond that this could be done last minute. =D

Thanks to Keith when he volunteered himself as a cook and distribute the food well. Everyone got to eat a fair share!

Thanks to Iskandar who helped to be the MC for the night. Without you, the event would not have been so exciting and successful. Somehow you have became the most important role in the event. That's why i gave u a red colour! ^^

Thanks to Kelvin and Asmin who volunteered to help out minor stuffs of the event.

Thanks ross again for being the Camera Man on that day; and don't mind taking the trouble to consolidate all photos and make them into a great video, this is a last minute thing and i really salute him for doing this.

Most importantly have to thanks everyone who came, participate and enjoy themself in the event, this is the best award and graduated for an organiser and i really feel damn happy about it. Thanks!

Overall the chalet is successful, only setback is that no one is willing to be a game ic and help organise cohesion games that bonds everyone together. Improvement will be made according to this issue =)

early birthday celebration

Weihao Mt Tug Suyuan celebrated my 22nd birthday with me at Forum Hardrock Cafe today.
Damn crap.. the staff there ask me stand on stage while they ask the crowd to sing me a happy birthday song.. Stand on stage nvm.. still ask me stand on a chair which is on the stage! really wtfffff..

After dinner, followed by the stupid waitresses who asked me to stand on the chair at the stage while the crowds sang birthday song for me, we went to c8 kbox.. I decided to treat them with a bottle of chivas with 7 hrs of singing time with 3 mixers and a number of snacks.

2 of them went off halfway to st james. The rest stayed on singing.. I drank too much until I cannot walk properly haha.. i suggest we slp there til 6am but the 2 of them decided to leave at 3.30am. I agreed to it and we went home.. I am still dizzy now but it prove that i am not very drunk coz i am still blogging this thing now..

Anyway gona thanks weihao coz he organised the whole thing and even though i know about the plan i still had a great day.. thanks alot guys becoz with the presents and dinner i think it gona cost a bomb so i have decided to treat you guys back.. and the most important thing is I AM DRUNK NOW but i still am able to blog! Coz normally when ppl say they are not drunk means they are drunk.. So to prove that i am not drunk i have to say that..

Hope next morning the woodlands checkpoint is not jammed so that i can proceed to malaysia to shop shop + celebrate one of my bunkmate's birthday.. I better sleep early so i can wake up early to go malaysia!

Long time never blog already. So it's time to update!

It's already 1 weeks since posted to ASLC. Really mad course, this week already completed 5km and 7km run. 5km to be completed by 30 min; 7km to be completed by 40 min. We also set up bombing circuit and ignite it. Wtf the shockwave is so damn big; summore can feel the ground shaking. Wonder if singapore will sink one day due to those saf bombing trainings. Oh one thing is Eddie Cai is in my BUNK! Wtf? Damn Zhun! And Kelvin Kong is in my Platoon also.. Both are my Sec Sch Mates.

Wooo! Black Chamber is selling Tees at 50% discounted price! Tml gona go visit it at Pacific Plaza and scout for some Bounty X Hunter Tees~ Roarrrr!!

Gona change my wallet and buy a cheap watch soon.. hope tml got time =)

Oh ya before i end my post, just to update everyone that my com is spoilt and i am using a stupid weak lappie now. Msn is a problem which always cant sign me in. I am still waiting for DDR3 rams + motherboard price to drop so i can change a ddr3 motherboard. For now, ddr2 rams have risen to match ddr3 rams' cost so i've decided not to change a ddr2 motherboard now. Yet ddr3 board is so ex and i believe the price will reduce after a few months. SO I WILL PERSEVERE and WAIT!

OH YA! Forgotten to mention that i've got a puppy now already! It's damn obedient and cute~ Shin Tzu 4 mths old already. Got it when it's only 1 and half mth old haha.. Want to know how i get it? It's a secret...

Anyway i just came back from my 5 days malaysia trip.

1st day : wow i broke my own record.. my dad's picnic actually reached a speed of 190km/hr. cool. Anyway day 1 i went to cameron highlands which is damn sian coz nth to see up there? But i bought my xmas gift up there. After that went to ipoh shopping mall shopping and went back Sitiawan home.. Rich uncle treated us to a nice restaurant and booked 4 tables for thursday grandpa's birthday celebration.

2nd day: Went to a place filled with wild boars. It's damn cool people.. They are all around us and we just touch them while they are eating. It's rumoured that if people touch the wild boars up there they will get lots of fortune. And so after that night my mum tio 4d 2nd prize. Went to a nice restaurant to eat after that.

3rd day: Went lumut beach.. Bought lots of malaysia's specialise snacks.. Another rich Uncle's treat to steamboat at night.. damn shoik..

4th day: Went over another uncle place help fix computer, drink red wine, at night went to that famous restaurant for grandpa's birthday celebration. Best food ever eaten.. cool~

5th day: Nothing much.. Just bring along 2 puppies back to Johor. Bigger one put at johor house, smaller one brought to Singapore le.. shuang..

POP!

The long awaited POP day has finally arrived. It was a short 3 months i would say. Lots of memories were brought out of tekong together with me. Should say i actually grew up abit more from this 3 months, meeting different kinds of people and more weird and good friends as well.

Within this 3 months i have indeed completed lots of stuffs. This is the 1st time i've completed so many things within such a short time. Probably the reason for this is because i have been wasting my time for the past years. I forsee myself to be a totally changed person after 2 years of NS.

Thinking back, everything that happened in Tekong was just a flash through my life. I became a section IC since the 1st day of enlistment, next came the Platoon IC, further on being made fun of becoming a Company IC by my platoon sergeant. Section mates and my platoon sergeant always make fun of me as well. Everytime my platoon sergeant gather everyone from my section, i will always become their main attention to be focus on and becoming their main entertainment for that day.

Days when we do stupid things together, risking things together. Days spent during confinement, guard duties and so on. All was something exciting cause there will always be something different happening.

For completing all the various events like IMT, IA drills, First Aid, Firepower Demo, Live range, Field Camp, SIT Test, Hand Grenade, SOC, Swimming, OC evening, recruits evening, NE and games day, I finally Pass Out as a Trainnnnnnnnned SoldieR! Hurray! However during the POP it was rather boring because our Company Sergeant Major chased us home as we are the 1st company to be sent home on that day. There was no time for photo taking session after the parade zzz.

3 MORE DAYS TO POP!!!!

Had Games day, NE presentation, Parade Rehearsal, Guard Duty this week. Damn sian only but quite fun. Kena Sunburn during games day. Make fun of my platoon sergeant while i am acting for NE presentation. Parade rehearsal was damn tiring but good coz that's for POP!

Stayed back for Guard Duty. We used the Recruit Annex, watch movies, night snacks and syrup drinks. Next day on Guard Duty was fun, kept eating and sleep and wait for next shift only. Played chinese chess in guard duty room. Sergeant came to join us. He was definitely an expert on chess, non of us won him. Got 1 encik, Duty Officer, came in to inspect and sergeant said "Siao liao!" and stood up immediately. Damn cock really. When I was on duty, a person showed his tag with "IDSM" and wanted to come into rocky hill anxiously. I asked "Can i know your purpose of coming to Rocky Hill?" and he said "to inspect on you all lahz" as he laughed. I dunno wtf is that so i took out my walkie talkie and ask my sergeant whether can let him in. While i am asking he keep di siao me "idsm la idsm la" as he laughed. Really is wtf one, non of us know what is IDSM, he is actually the Island Duty Sergeant Major, his job is to inspect whether all of us are doing our duty well. This makes the day more fun lol.

Also need to congrats to Quebec Drill Squad for getting a good result in Drill Competition and also gotten the privilege to perform during our Graduation Parade.

Went JB for some shopping spree. Anyway time is not a lot since my friend gotta rush back to meet friends while i need to attend my friend's birthday bash. Bought a shirt and a shoe only but never mind i will continue my shopping next time~

Went home to get the present b4 proceeding to my friend's birthday bash. Saw a long 'lost' primary school friend, Jason Tan Wei Jen, when i was on my way to the car. He left 2 months before ORD-ing from NS but i am updated with a bad news. He may have to go to detention barrack because he was caught booking out during duty, not only that, he also used his friend pass to book out and in, AND he was also caught for bringing camera phone into camp.. Really JIALAT JIALAT la.. Break so many Military Laws at one go.. God also cannot save him liao~ But still i will pray for you!

Next, went to friend's birthday party. Many says i became thinner le and so I started shooting people fat! Hahahahahahaha~ woot! Took some photos, will update them in facebook when my friend send me but im afraid that gona takes place next week =) Alright! Sad part is tomorrow i will have to return to camp already but still not bad coz my book in time is 9pm! So tomorrow i am going to Town to shop shop b4 booking in since i have a long day tml~

Reminder: Just to remind myself - 1. bring civilian clothes when i book in for recruits night. 2. bring back all useless stuffs home from camp by next book out.

Reason for bringing back home all useless stuff - We will have to march 24km with all our items during POP day. If i dont clear them now, they are just going to be a burden during my route march. I will nv let that happen!

I've just booked out today which is on the Wednesday. Wad a long break i have for this week. Anyway just finished my IPPT this week. Result.. should say quite good. Almost reached gold for IPPT but i just cant meet the timing of 9.44min for 2.4 argh~

POP is approaching me~ It's just 2 and a half weeks away ROAR!! With next Thursday being the BMTC anniversary and Friday being the Hari Raya days, i am booking out on Wednesday! And this makes me only 2 weeks to POP in actual.

Had just played a paintball game this week. My batch was the 1st batch to try Paintball pellets with M16 after they changed all M16 to SAR21 one year ago. So this gave me a chance to actually shoot a M16! It was sooooo damn light as compared to SAR21 zzz.. But SAR21 comes with a Scope so we can shoot better =p

Other than this paintball game, I also completed my SOC this week. The timing to pass SOC is 7min 15sec and my timing was 5min 44sec~ Wooooooo happy~ Next is my IPPT.. I am sure I am going to get a silver. So as much to my extend i would actually try to aquire a gold but it's a bit out of my ability to do so.. Anyway i will just try my best.

Confinement..

This week in BMT was quite a good one.. We finally finished our Basic Close Combat Training (BCCT).. Yeap and we are left with only SOC and IPPT! 3 more weeks til POP, I cant wait for that day to arrive seriously. Anyway next week we will complete SOC and the week after will complete IPPT. Also, my IPPT this thursday result was a Pass with 1 more chin up to a silver. I shall aim for gold for my final IPPT in 2 weeks time.

Within this 2 weeks there will be NE performance, OC evening, Recruits Evening and also drill practices for POP. I am chosen as the lead actor for NE performance, zzz. Everytime i am the one kena chosen for all kinds of stupid stuffs. Coming to acting, i think i gona make a fool out of myself once again~ But i not going to brood over it coz everything i do is in army and no one can see what exactly i do!

I have chosen Sispec as my choice to command school and no to OCS on my Express Interest day. I hope i can successfully be posted to Sispec! All the best to me man!

Argh this week is a emo week for me coz i am serving my confinement this week. Early morning tomorrow i will be booking in and staying in camp til sunday morning. But it's okay coz my bunk mate and i gona create a party in our bunk!

Will update again on my SOC result which will take place next Friday and also my IPPT result which will take place in 2 weeks time. Stay tune til then~

SIT Test

I have just completed my 3D2N SIT Test this week in tekong. Well, I would definitely say SIT test is a fun event. We will go to various stations to complete our tasks with our unique/stupid ideas we came up with.

Anyway i think SIT test is for those who wanna excel to perform, especially those who wanted to go to OCS, since i heard that all leadership batches with a little leadership potential is enough to enter sispec as long they pass ippt. For me, I am just fooling around and playing around, probably coz i do not see myself fit enough to sign up for OCS. However, I think I've reacted quite well to situations like suddenly teammate kena shot in chest or leg i took immediately actions to evacuate them, so my result for SIT test shouldn't be low.

It's only 4 weeks left til i POP, everything just happened like a few days ago. I cant believe i have completed so much stuffs in such a short time. I have completed all hi-tea events such as, IMT (Individual Marksman Training), Live shooting Range, Grenade Live Throw, Field Camp, SIT Test. As for now, i will need to concentrate on my IPPT, SOC, 24KM Route March, and my Parade Drills.

My Goal is a Silver in IPPT, CLEAR my SOC, Never Fall out during my 24km Route March and not to cock up during my parade. Hope i can do well in my BMT. I want to go sispec after this! Or maybe OCS if i can get a gold in IPPT b4 my express interest date arrive. =)

Another Week Passed

Woo, another week in NS had passed. This makes me 1 week nearer to my pop date.

Basically this week we had only pt and Standard Obstacles Course (SOC). SOC is a fun event but tiring.. Not too sure whether i can complete SOC in 7 mins time but i am going to do my best during the test few weeks later.

One bad thing, my stupid name is in the confinement list coz during IFC basha-building lesson, i nv hold on to my rifle and my sergeant took it. Took down my 4D no. and i am automatically in the confinement list already zz.. Guess i will serve my confinement next week coz this week is fully occupied; every week only can allow max of 20 confinees.

Anyway, this book out i have to stock up tea candles, get a new watch or repair my broken strap watch. Because next book in, we are going to have our 12km route march to CampSite again! God, I hate Outfield! This time it's a 3D2N instead for our Situation Test. Hope i can do well in it. Friends please give me all your blessings!

Field Camp

Gosh, field camp was indeed a hell. It was the 1st time i ever experienced such heat in my body. We are not allowed to remove our LBV (a fking tight vest) and helmet which traps all the heat and makes us felt damn exhausted and weak. No matter how much water i drink, the heat is still there. Everyday for 5 days morning til night we have to LBV and helmet on. Really damn shag.

Furthermore we have to sweat ourselves out by running, rolling, crawling, falling, etc.. making it worse. More heat got trapped and we got worse.

I am going to give a rough overall stuffs i covered in my field camp. Those guys who have not done ur field camp can refer and have mental preparations. =)

1st day, 8km route march to field site. Proceed to build our basha (small tent for 2), tried out field ration the 1st time in my life, proceed to urban area for lesson on creeping, shuffling, turning. Basically everything we have to know on how to raid a building/room. We drew blanks (rounds without bullets) for our practices and we practice individual basic raiding techniquestil evening when we return to campsite for our dinner.

2nd day, this day was slack day to me. Woke up 5.45 for 5bx and breakfast and went to urban area to collect our blanks. Practiced on team raiding on urban buildings til 12pm. We are allowed to rest for 2 hours before our test begins. Guess this is a welfare by our officer in commanding so that we can do better in our test. Anyway, we finish our test in the evening and went back to campsite for dinner.

3rd day, woke up 5.45, 5bx breakfast, tore down basha, kept everything in field pack, proceed to ammo point to get blanks. Proceeded to forested area where we are taught on non-urban moving techniques (jungle warfare). This lesson is about how we cross an open area, Y-junction, fighting in jungle, how to react on response to artillery. We did our practice til evening and went back for dinner. Today we sleep with cowboy style (slept on groundsheet only with no shelter).

4th day, load field pack up tonner(a big truck) and we march to a new camp site in SBO (standard battle order; LBV, helmet, rifle). For the whole day we have been digging our shellscrape (a coffin-liked hole, rectangular hole which must be able to cover our whole body).
We have to do 1/3 alert(in group of 3, 1 to be on guard, 2 to be at rest) at night. But because most of us did not complete our shellscrape, our commanders allowed us to do 1/3 alert shellscrape digging. The one guarding will dig shellscrape instead of guarding. lol

5th day, after drawing our blanks, we proceed over to jungle area for our test on jungle warfare. Test lasted til evening. We are supposed to have field cooking at evening, but some idiots from platoon 1 talked cocks amongst themselves and one of the officers heard it and complained to our officer in commanding (OC). Our OC came and fk us upside down. Cancelled field cooking, forced us to complete our shellscrape coz more than 80% did not meet the standard. All of us are not allowed to sleep at all til next morning.

6th day, woke up, kena fk again. Reasons: someone shitted on the pathway, rubbish not picked up around our shellscrape areas. After we got fk, we went up for shellscrape grading. We covered the shellscrape and we returned back to our company line. Cleaned rifle, surrender field rations, had our HUMAN LUNCH, packed field pack, BATHE, and most importantly, BOOK OUT!!!!!!!!!

Live Range

Live range this week is indeed fun. This is the most slack day throughout the whole of bmt life.

What we need to do is just to go for shooting of 4 bullets to 8 bullets each queue den go back to resting spot and awaits next shooting. There's tidbit stall for us to buy, slack, sleep. Damnnnnn slack only shoikkkkk.

Live range miss 4 shots. Felt wasted coz all are ai wan shots. Anyway my score is 28/32 so still able to attain marksman.

Anyway, next week field camp, i have already felt the stress when we are covering some of the field activities in our company line. Cant imagine what it will be like at the field camp itself.

National Service

It's time to reblog now because i am starting to feel bored.

It's already been 4 weeks in my Basic Military Training. It's also an end to my Physical Training Phrase, so from next week onwards, it will just be the start of Basic Military Training officially.

1st week BMT, normally confinement week but lucky we met hari raya and we got to book out for the 1st week. Confinement is pushed to 2nd and 3rd week zzz. Anyway, for my 1st book out on saturday, tug came and fetch me home, den go st james power house at night immediately after i finish settling my stuffs. On sunday, mainly go out during afternoon do window shopping and rush back to help my dad work.

2nd week is confinement week in BMT, total of 12 days in camp. Damn sian only seriously. Everyday wake up muscle aching, must force ownself wake up and go down to fall in. Must drink up 500ml water everyday before we do our 5BX. Everyday have to keep running and do strength training or speed training in spite of muscle aches. But it's damn shoik i should say. Free muscle building session with professional instructors and medic standing by. Roar~

3rd week book out, friday night book out, just online chatting and slp le. Saturday went out with wh and tug, go tampines window shopping again den came back at night help dad work. Sunday go bugis shop some cheap clothes den book in le.

Today is the 2nd day of my 4th week book out. I still feel time is tight and not enough for me to use. Anyway, my task for this week is to:

-buy a speaker for my cousin
-shave my hair to no.1
-buy some muscle relieving products
-buy wardrobe fresherner coz my wardrobe fking stinks
-meet up with friends at night for some drinks
-go out window shopping/shopping if things suit me
-go for facial

Oops I just watched Transformer 2 today.. I know it's kinda slow for me.. But there will still be others who have not watched this movie i guess.. So I am urging all these people to WATCH THIS GODDAMN COOL MOVIE! Never miss this show on cinema~~~~~ NEVERRRRRRR~~~~

Storyline is that there's 2 fraction called Autobot(good) and Decepticon(evil). Both are from other planet. There's this particular shard which dropped to the earth. This shard can changed any metal into a Decepticon Robot the moment it touches metal. Therefore, Decepticon came down to earth to recover the shard and also to revive their leader, Megatron, who is stucked on Sea-Bed in earth for long. There came the Autobot fraction trying to protect Earth from danger!

This is just a basic storyline for those who did not watch Transformer 1 so you can enjoy transformer 2 better with this minor knowledge =p Anyway i did not watch transformer 1, I am gona watch it online le~ roarrrrr~~~~~

Last night went out to supper with Mel, Dav, WH at prata house. Mel told me his story about him meeting an accident on saturday while returning home from June's chalet. I feel a bit guilty wor~ Coz we mahjong whole "night" never slp.. Den he still need drive alot ppl home.. Den he go home that time kena accident.. Lucky he bo daiji.. But the car chui hahaha..

Actually if i never suddenly rushing for time and went back earlier.. I should be the one driving those staying at amk back de.. den mel only send cheryl home should be wun so shag den wun accident le.. Oops.. Anyway it's fated, MEL! Btw during mahjong, i told mel "eh u later can drive not dun lang ga arh.. haha". Sorry ar haha just a joke it's not a curse.. :(

Woke up 7am.. Drove Jocelyn to her dunno what de interview at Singapore Press Holdings o.O! Wulu place sia.. Reached le we still dunno.. abit funny..

Went to Paya Lebar Temple to pray. After that go "Ma Lai Xia Ling Shi Guan" (Sorry but what's the english name for this place?) book my date for taking oath.. For renouncing my Malaysian Citizenship and Oath taking to become Singaporean. going on 7th august.. sian..

Met Michelle at town.. Do some window shopping den go find Eddie drink tea~ Mich's bf henry came too.. We went home after having prata at amk.. =)

Great Horror Movie

Watched "Drag Me To Hell". Previously disliked horror movies cause to me they are craps. Using only sound effect to scare people and not much of a good story line in there.

This Horror movie was indeed different. Recommended to watch.. There's Story line, REAL scary scenes but MORE funny! Especially, in a fight between the 2 girls, looked scary but she still can laugh saying "HAHAHA! I WON! BITCH~" However, there's lots of REAL DISGUSTING scenes in there so if you want to smuggle some lunch/dinner in.. Beware yea~

After watching this movie, i think we should help people as long there's even only 1% helpfulness in us! ROARRR~~

Melvin's Chalet

Woot~ Melvin's chalet was fabulous.. So much alcohol and 6 star foods! Stayed for 2 full days for 24 hrs Mahjong! Played texas poker too! Slept for 6 hrs on the final night. The room was damn comfortable too~ Melvin sent Cheryl to her workplace at holland den we all go eat breakfast.. Mel sent us home after that.

Shall wish Melvin a very Happy Birthday once again. Btw mel's dad went hospital on the 2nd last dad. Dunno issit due to food poisoning.. Hope ur dad recover soon yea..

Went back bathe and continue to go JB for some shopping with Jocelyn and Weihao. Spent the whole day at Johor~ Time was not enough.. lol coz i am quite busy the moment i go johor everytime.. ^^ Okay bahz got chance go again..

Went to JingTing's Bd party at Changi SAF Holiday Chalet. That place is real damn cool, chalet houses built directly facing the sea. If able to stay there should be very relaxing, morning can enjoy fresh cool breeze and watch sunrise and sunset. Too bad there's no chance for me to stay =p

20th may, wednesday

I think i wake up in the morning quite early coz too hot to slp.. den afternoon 5pm go take nap til 9pm. Then Jocelyn called me ask me go watch dunno what movie "Angels and Demons". Agreed to the request. At first dunno what that movie is trying to show but around the middle and end part, it became clearer to me. Part of it is thanks to Jocelyn who is not irritated for explaining what the movie is about as she watched. Went to eat dinner at Chomp Chomp den go home.. Shag..

21st may, thursday

Jocelyn asked me go kbox at nite after her work. Sang for 10pm to 6am at cine lvl 8. I am very tired so almost all songs she sang. Ate supper buffet at k box also. Quite little things to eat. Carrot cake too salty(still can be eaten) , coleslaw too sour(cant be eaten), but other stuffs like sushi, fried rice, onion rings, ice cream, mini cakes are not bad.

22nd may, friday

Went out with june, meiting, chinhwee, tug, cheeseng to kovan lan shop play l4d. Meiting, Tug and me reached there and played for like 2 hrs b4 the other 3 appears. By then, all com are already booked so the 3 of us decided to let chinhwee, june, cheeseng to sit at our computers while we go home and rest. 3 of us went prata hse for supper. Suddenly Meiting keep say me bad things sian diao.. sounded quite angry yet looked like joking.. Dun really noe the real problem anyway lol.. Guess it's just a joke bahz..

23th may, Saturday

Forgot do what in the afternoon alr, but 4.30am send my sis to amk central to take shutter bus to padang. Dunno what kids event. She was supposed to walk to amk central my her own actually but my parents ask me drive her go of coz i say okay wtf this early ownself walk there mehx..

Reached there and there's not even a single soul walking on street let alone a shutter bus. She called almost all her event management club group people, all busy tone. Zzz! Waited til 5.10am, sms came and said shutter bus cancelled have to proceed there by own. She need to be at padang at 5.30am and 5.10am sms came telling shutter bus not available, summore public transport around 5.30am then available.. zzz fking disorganise. I dunno what will happen if my sis go amk central alone.. -,-

Drove my sis to padang in the end. Looked big event to me coz all roads to padang was blocked. Reached home at 6am and zy jioed me dota, played til 10am bathe and went to toapayoh with tug.

24th may, Sunday

Tug jio me go Toa Payoh walk walk see see. He bought a 2nd-hand psp slim and samsung star touch-screen phone. Visited mt at goreng pisang shop. Rebecca was working that day as well. Too bad nv drive car so cannot send u home =p Actually going golden mile to get tug's uniform rank sewed onto. In the end he decided to ask his mum to do it instead and went to my house update psp games and play games. I never sleep ytd so i go slp. Actually going k box at 10pm but cancelled.. so continue sleeping while my sis open door for tug. =x

Poly BBQ outing.. Good too see lots of friends. Still as cheerful as ever, all never change much.. Timothy's bad habit like keep tapping shoulder, is still acting up like normal. And my reaction to him is still the same~ rented bike and go to somewhere where lots of people are fishing with 2 friends.. Chatted awhile, suddenly felt enlightened by Ser Sing's words..

Drank some vodka and ate some vodka marinated foods. Drove 5 people home. Took me 1.5 hrs zzz damn tired.. btw JingTing seems afraid of me driving, she thought i too drunk to drive.. Anyway lucky no TP =P

Went michelle hse ytd for early celebration of bd. Saw the most unique cake ever.. Will update when people send me the pic.. It's damnnn cool. Today was Jonathan's bd

Went Clarke Quay to eat.. Michelle and Sally was looking for some entertainment when they saw the Turkish Ice Cream stall.. A small performance entertained them and me =p Actually i should be the one being a fool catching the ice cream.. But too bad he passed to the one who ordered from him who was Michelle.

Was just wondering around to look for some restaurants/cafes to settle down. Finally, decided place = hot stone. Food not bad.. Service still okay.. Best service is when they off all the lights, making all of us thought it was a blackout/they closing alr, den all their staffs including manager came out with cake singing bd song. Was a memorable bd for Jon.

I did not drive today coz thinking of going Clarke Quay for drinking.. Anyway we went to Nu Bar in Seletar for some snacks and beer.

Not a bad day except i was too tired to talk sorry abt that =p

Went out with wh and mt since long time never meet up already. Go for dinner at mahanttan fish market. After that, went far east to shop for present for beat's bd party tml. Bump onto michelle on the way. Since we could not find any presents in mind, we decided to share with michelle.

Went for movie after that. Watched 12 rounds. Lots of explosive scenes. Personally feel it is damn sian for the story part. Went to chomp chomp for some light snacks. Met my primary school best friend, Hawyi who is having supper at rk hse. Really long time never see him already.. quite an interesting day.

Went to do that load/unload car job again.. This time they asked for non-1st timer..

Today's job was rather fast.. ended at 2pm even though there was slight delay of heavy rain. Total 1300 cars to be unloaded and took 7 hrs include heavy rain and lunch time.

Got 1 instance where i use 3rd gear to up slope den engine died.. Melvin was behind me and he chua tio LOL. Those people signalling also looked WTF lol.. Change wrong gear chey..

Went back msia yesterday to bai ah gong. Death 100th day. Today burn joss paper that time rain til alot cats and dogs dropped down. We went to take big nylon cloth(i think that's nylon i not sure) to cover the rain. Really is wtf.. Damn Difficult to burn.

Went Aloha Loyang Chalet today. It was Emily's Birthday. Good to see those bunch of secondary school friends. Still the same as ever.

There are lots of march babies in my year. Coming up next should be Beatrice(25th), my bro(27th), Annie(29th), me(31st) i suppose?

Most of my frens organised chalet and invited loads of friends over for 21st bd celebration. For my own bd this yr, i'm still considering how it will going to be like. Dun really like big celebrations though. Anyway shall just see to it bahz, maybe big maybe small nahz i dun really care. =)

SP Huang Jing Lun Concert

Huang Jing Lun and Shi Xin Hui came to SP for a mini concert. Organize by 933 if i'm not wrong because the commentators are from 933. Quite a fun and humourous concert mainly caused by huang jing lun.

Cny 2009

This year's CNY was just like normal days. B4 cny, there are lots of projects to do. Shortly after cny is the submission of all the projects. Follow up will be Semestral Exams. With all of these done, I will complete my Poly life. Everything is so rush for me to enjoy my CNY this year.

Saw some friends msn/blog messages that they do not enjoy cny this year as much too. Probably it's because of the date bahz.. This year's cny is rather early. Anyway, that's life. There should always be ups and downs if not life will not be as fruitful. =)

Went for National Service Medical Checkup on friday.. After completing a series of checkups and tests. Doctor gave me a PES A group. That was the best group in NS and soldiers would have highest chance to be selected to go into Commando Unit. Since it's already fated, i should just let them decide for me.. Dun think i can change anything as well.. lol

Tomorrow is the day for collection of tickets to Huang Jing Lun's Concert in SP. His Concert is held in SP Auditorium Hall on Thursday. I am thinking of going to his concert. Hope this concert will help me relax after rushing out all projects by this friday.Then, i can start preparing the follow up series of exams. =)

Stupid Accident Caused Jam

Walau! I have a Lab assignment to complete this morning and i am already getting late. Board the cab at 7.45am and I have to reach my class by 8am! OMG! And guess what.. The stupid jam started after Amk Big Mac Centre, ALL THE WAY, til near Holland Village. 3 cars langa together and never move to the side.. Hai dao all the traffic so heavy.

It's a damn bad start for today.. Took 45 mins to reach school, 7.45am to 8.30am. BY CAB! And cab fee $21.80. WTF! If i noe by cab will take so long i might as well take mrt. It's 45 mins also and directly reach my school! Argh~

This is what we call "People's count cannot compare to Heaven's count". LOL!

Embarass No. 1

Yesterday Me, Genevieve and Shu Yi decided to just tap for the last lesson and go for free access to practice Network Security Lab assignment. We were thinking how to sneak out. Genevieve went to open the Locked Back Door. While the Lecturer is busy setting up his laptop for lesson, me and shu yi slowly walk out without looking back, and Gen was already outside waiting.

As we are walking halfway, that stupid gen suddenly turn her head behind and said "Ahhh Lao shi lai le!" Den she started running! WTF den i also follow her run awhile but i run different direction and stopped after awhile-,-! The Shu Yi just walked fast to reach me.. She was complaining that she nv encounter this problem after she stepped into polytechnic. I ALSO LO~ Stupid Gen run wad run hai me run. After that i am thinking.. Why i run? We are already in Poly and lecturer should let us do whatever we like. Argh, I suddenly got a feel that i actually went back to Primary School for that instance.

Embarass No. 2

I was sleeping throughout the bus journey back home. I did not notice that my leg was numb when i got up because i can hardly move due to the crowds in the bus. When i started standing up, my left leg just softened and i have totally no control over my left leg. But i forced myself to continue walking down and out of the bus. My leg just bend down automatically for like 3 to 4 times while walking. It's damn Damn damn damn EMBARASSING LA! LOL.. ZzZzZZzz Anyway after awhile my left leg got back it's strength -,- First time kena this problem in my 20++yrs life.

Lessons Cancel For Whole Week?

I should say sp is really damn disorganised with their teaching plan. Many of our lessons are messed up becoz of Spinnovex(show case of projects)! Some lecturers came for lessons. Some did not turn up. At least inform us on which modules are cancelled and which are not! We are waiting like hell for every lessons which lecturers din turn up for.

Anyway, while waiting for one of the lesson, my fren Ken actually says something interesting.

He asked "Are we just born to walk the route set by the government? As in even before we are born they have already set a route for us. Why cant we choose our route on our own?"

5 to 16 yrs old - Kindergarden 1 to Secondary 4

"I should say only after 16 yrs of planned life, can we choose whether we want to continue our studies. Either stop ur education in O'Levels, pursue study in Polytechnic, JC or private school."

I believe many working people out there are swearing and cursing now for wasting their 16 yrs old of life or even 20 or 22 for males whom are forced to attend NS for 2 years. Because when they work, they noe that they are not applying what they are learning in school to the working environment. No matter how well you score for ur exams, you will need to learn from scratch when u enter a company.

Many students do not know what they are studying for. Some parents say study for knowledge which do not convince much because they can acquire more knowledge from the internet which is so great now. Some parents say to get a certificate to safeguard students for a good post in company next time even after you failed your own business.

I believe parents should somewhat talk to their child about what studying is about since 5 yrs old and discuss with them before making the decision for ur child. Getting into a person's interest is the most important source of learning! If he/she wants to sing, send them to singing class. I can give a 90% garantee that they will do fantastic in there. If they wants to be a pilot, just send them to a class whereby they will teach handling of airplanes, airplane components and security to take note and stuffs. They will become a great young pilot. =D

All I am trying to convey is that a child need not neccessary go for government's plan which teaches all kind of stupid things like math and science which can be done in their own research. Just directly post them into any profession courses and sign them up for language classes. As for simple math, parents can just teach about + - x / and that will be more than enough. They will be more outstanding than 80% of singapore students in the age of 16 yrs old.

The year 2008 was indeed a fast year. Year 2009 arrived in just a blink of eyes. My dad asked me a question.

"Jun, it's 2009 now. Can you recall back what you have done in 2008? What have you learnt? Or have you done nothing? Learnt nothing and wasted one year?"

I think this sentence have lots of meaning to it. Can you guys think back on what u have done in 2008? All of us should have a goal. That is to accomplish more things every year. Time is precious. I personally thinks i have wasted 20 years of time!

Normal human beings normal lifespan is around 70 yrs. That means i am just left with 50 yrs to earn myself a special life. Time is indeed short for human!

I suppose i can say 100% of the students in singapore would have the mindset that "Studying is a bored thing to do". I totally agree with that. This is called great minds think alike.

Today a friend chat about studying during lunch break. As he talk i find what he says totally identical to me.

He said :
"I everyday tell myself to study."
"But the moment i step home i see computer i must on it and play game."
"When i think exam is 1 week away i will say okay la i play game 1st later den study coz still got time."
"Den once start playing i will play whole day and when it was damn late already i will tell myself tomorrow den study."
"Tomorrow wake up see computer 1st thing i do is on it."
"I took my book and sit beside my com but i cannot study.. the moment i study i sleep"
"So i say i play game 1st need relax my mind b4 i can get mood to study"
"I just repeat this until finally today is the exam date."
"Den i start to panic and take my book out and chiong all chapters within 2 hrs or 3 hrs"
"Really wtf la~ OK 我要清醒! I must force myself to stop playing game now!"

I still think he cannot do it. =p

One of my friend told him.. "I think u must die 1 time, den revive, den u can seriously start ur real life."
I also think this way. When u have not see death u wun panic. The moment death is right in front of u, u will do everything to TRY to save urself. Why risk it when u can be immuned to death sentence b4 hand?

Anyway i guess this is human life. I dun believe no one ever tried this before. Only when it's last minute den u panic, if not u are always in a heckcare mode. HOW CAN WE GET RID OF THIS HUMAN CURSE?

I am not sure whether i should classify all these as spam calls but the way they are doing it are super irritating to me please. Since march til now, there are more than 20 calls i received from banks introducing their credit cards and stuffs. Repeated calls from Bank of China, Standard Chartered, so on..

2 days ago while i was having mahjong game, standard chartered bank called and intro their stupid stuffs. Today standard chartered bank called again introducing once more time during my lesson time. I was like oh shit why i went to pick up this unknown no. during lesson time and the moment i heard Standard Chartered bank, i was like WTF! Standard chartered have totally called me for more than 5 times! Cant they note down which number have they called and which not? It's ****ING IRRITATING PLS!

Cant they be sued for all these SPAM CALLS?!!

Friendship problems

Whatever it is, humans always have this problem of causing great conflict between friends and families or teammates. This is actually a bad habit which humans til now wun get to realise how to prevent and solve.

Have you ever think back after arguments? If not, you are just trying to run away from the reality. Because you will only thinks that you are in the right and opposite in the wrong. Same for the opposite's thinking. What will this lead to? A never forgiving arguments and conflict. To end and regains friendship, both will have to admit their own mistakes. Have you guts to admit mistakes made?

Humans are never 100% correct. Try to listen for all the criticizes made on you, listen to what others say about you and accept them. They are valueable comments which not normal people will give. Do not be hot tempered and get angry the moment you hear people say your bad.

Your best attitude starts today!

After all the fun.. We went back to hotel.. Next day reported that Typhoon has invaded Taiwan.. Our last day should be going Shi Lin Ye Shi, XiMenDing, 101 Tower.. It's gone.. :'(

I am at Taiwan, Taoyuan now.. Wad a good pressure from airplane.. when ascending i feel okay.. but when descending.. my ears are like bursting.. I totally cannot withstand it. Anyway i cannot believe that i can use free internet access in this hotel at TaoYuan. Went to one Night Market just now.. It's at least 5x bigger than SG BASAM MALAM. Totally COOL!

Middle of the Night

Oh gosh! I gona tell a very very good story now! So listen up everyone.

I was driving through a 1 way up down lane in the middle of Night around 4am. It was totally pitch dark. There was no street lamps. I began accerate to around 110kmph to 120kmph with my high beam on as there was no cars at all. Suddenly i saw some blurred moving figures 30m in front of me, I started to slow down my car to around 90kmph. They looked just like fogs, but moving fogs! The figures was still blurred til around 10m range! GUESS WHAT I SAW?

A horde of COWS! WTF! I came to a sudden stop at around 10metres range with 90kmph. Everyone in my car woke up and WOW! COWS! LOL.. It's totally WTF! HALF OF MY LIFE GONE! HAHA.. There was like more than 15 of them in the middle of the road in the pitch dark 2-way single lane road. LUCKY MY EYES ARE SHARP.. IF I BANG ON THEM! I THINK MY WHOLE CAR PPL DIE.

Anyway.. EVERYONE STARTED LAUGHING AND my speed drops to instant 80kmph - 90kmph after the cow incident.. I have phobia on single lane 2-way roads NOW.. At least for the night only.. DAMN!

Vacation!

I am going for a long vacation finally! Dad's coffee shop will be down for renovation from 1st Sept to 1st Oct.

Tomorrow, 1st Sept, around evening will be setting off to Sitiawan (Malaysia), my mother's hometown. Coming back on the 5th Sept, Friday, midnight.

7th Sept evening, setting off to Taipei for a 8-days vacation! I cant wait to eat, buy, see! I will be back on the 14th Sept!

Dun know what's my dad's plan after 14th sept, I am suggesting to go either genting, kukup, or KL to shop shop! 1 reason is to familiarize the road so i can bring my friends there next time yea, haha!

During these days, my handphone will not be reached. So.. try not to call me yea.. =DDD People who tag my blog will receive souvenirs! LOL! No la.. cannot garantee.. later i no money buy~ =(
